Look at the number. Then decide.

Look at the number. Then decide.

Good to Great starts with brutal facts. Not a speech. Not a new app. The number. Payroll. The books. A customer who went quiet. If you cannot see those before the week runs, you are guessing. Guessing feels like leadership. It is hope with a calendar invite.

Course correction is not failure. Pretending is.

Faith that you will prevail, and the discipline to stare at the real number. Hold both. Drop either one and the week turns into theater.

Most owner-led groups add a tool when the number is ugly. Or they add a pep talk. Neither opens the week. The number does. Then you decide what only you should still do, and what belongs on the systems you already pay for.

Monday: open one number before you open email. One. Decide from it. Then put another team on the chase that used to hide that number from you.

You do not need more seats. You need the people you already trust on the work that matters. Then a second workforce on the rest. No lock-in. Your systems, your data, your call. We stay as long as we are worth it.

A bigger business starts with a Monday number, not a pep talk.
